Running a keeper league that lasts
Keepers keep everyone invested year after year. Here is how to set one up.
A keeper league lets each team keep a few players from one season to the next. It gives your league history and gives everyone a reason to care in March.
Pick a keeper number
Two keepers per team is a good balance: enough to build around, not so many that the draft is boring.
Set the deadline
Keepers lock when the draft starts. Remind managers a week before with "Email the league" in Admin.
Keep the history
Fantasy Zone saves champions, season awards and records in History, so next season's trash talk writes itself.
Use a slow draft
For busy groups, a slow draft with a pick clock of a few hours lets everyone draft from their phone without a set time.
